The concept of
Integrated Performance Rehab was born in Sherman, TX through the
research and development of Peak therapist, Glenn Pere’, and has been
furthered by Peak’s relationship with the Michael Johnson Performance
Center. Because of Glenn’s unique clinical experience combined with
performance training he has developed a comprehensive approach to
treating patients utilizing sound scientific principles to optimize
results. Integrated Performance Rehab ® is an innovative approach to
use not only with athletes but with the general population as well. The
templates in IPR allow the clinician to deliver a consistent
progressive approach to injured patients while providing the ability to
be flexible based on the patient’s needs. This approach integrates the
very best of the performance training world with the very best that
physical therapy and sports rehab have to offer.
Where
traditional therapy tends to focus solely on tissue healing, pain and
strength, Peak views injury, surgery or dysfunction as an opportunity
to retrain the patient’s body to proper functional movement patterns,
correct anatomical alignment, and eliminate muscular imbalances. By
integrating cutting-edge physical therapy technology and techniques
with the best performance training has to offer, Peak is able to reduce
the likelihood of re-injury while improving the ability to perform at
work, sport or life.
