Peak
Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine was founded in December of 2000
with our first clinic in McKinney, Texas. Our company has grown to 9
clinics and has established itself as a leader in outpatient physical
therapy in Collin, Dallas, Grayson, and Hays counties. Our focus has
been in orthopedics and sports medicine including comprehensive
biomechanical assessments utilizing cutting edge technology, (FCE)
Functional Capacity Evaluations, specialized spine and sacroiliac
treatment, Custom Splinting and Orthotics, women’s health, TMJ
treatment, and sports enhancement and endurance training.
Peak
has a strong ethical and moral conviction that guides all business and
patient care decisions. We will always place the well being of the
patient first and remain above reproach when dealing with the business
of physical therapy.
Peak
Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers are therapist-owned
outpatient physical therapy clinics specializing in the rehabilitation
of all orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our clinicians have many
years of combined orthopedic physical therapy experience and have a
personal concern for each patient. Once becoming a patient at Peak, it
becomes evident that you have entered a friendly, comfortable and
professional atmosphere where the goal is to help you return to your
optimal level of health, well-being and function, whether that’s
returning to a sport, a job or a way of life.
Our
approach to treatment is to assess and find dysfunctions causing
symptoms, then correct the cause through the use of manual (hands-on)
therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic exercise, biomechanical
corrections and state of the art modalities. We include our patients in
the design and implementation of their rehabilitation program
encouraging active participation in the process. Each patient receives
a tailored home exercise program and is instructed in a self-care
program with the ultimate goal of being free of symptoms and the
dysfunctions that cause them. Patients also receive education on
maintenance and prevention to eliminate reoccurrence of identified
problems. We offer flexible scheduling with convenient early morning
and evening appointments. Our front office staff is highly trained and
very friendly, and will verify insurance benefits and file all medical
claims for services provided in our clinic.
